The Karhu Super Fulcrum takes a shoe that never actually made it to shelves - an unreleased 2016 prototype called the Super Fast - and finally brings it to life as a proper modern retro sneaker. The idea back then was a max-cushion shoe with built-in guidance for support and efficiency, and Karhu's design team clearly thought that concept deserved a second chance. The full-length Fulcrum Chassis midsole cradles the foot through its gait cycle to ease pressure on the heel, while the "Finnish Line" wrap around the upper adds a bit of structure and stability without weighing things down. A dimensional mesh upper with synthetic overlays keeps it breathable, and the T-profile lug outsole nods back to Karhu's Synchron Classic silhouette from the archives. It's a proper example of Karhu digging into its own back catalogue and coming out with something that feels genuinely current - max cushioning and a chunky, technical profile that fits right in with where sneaker design is at right now, backed by more than a century of Finnish running heritage.

Never shopped online but the store is spot on. Staff are always friendly, helpful and always up for a chat. You're definitely made to feel comfortable and the service is top notch. This is a great store - lovely range of clothes and brands. Well laid out store so easy to find what you’re after or just browse. Friendly and efficient staff make your visit to the store easy and smooth. One of my favourite stores in this much improved area of the city centre.

Such a unique shop with with good staff. I met the owner many years ago when he was located in smaller shop and to see how much it has grown the standard is still at the highest point all these years later. I look forward to the 28 mile trip knowing I’m coming back with something every time.

Lovely up to date store with a wonderful array of clothing that fits my style! I’ve been a few times and always ended up finding just what I needed with the help of one of the workers, the young lad - Reuben. It’s definitely my go to shop in the city centre.

I'm from Birmingham and now live in nuneaton, I usually go back there to shop, having visited cream I will mostly stay put. Tom was extremely helpful, polite and displayed excellent customer service.
